Make your flight easier
A Juurnee Companion, whenever you need one
There are lots of reasons a traveller might want company on a flight. These are the most common.
Help with children
Children plus travel is hard work. A companion helps with kids and baggage, every step of the way.
Disabled or injured travellers
Airports, aircraft seating and hand luggage can be tricky. A companion helps with whatever you need.
Elderly travellers
Want a parent to visit but worried about the logistics? A companion keeps them at ease the whole way.
Anxious flyers
Plenty of people find flying stressful, and you're not alone. A companion helps you stay calm and relaxed.

Agree the details, then fly
The traveller sets what they're offering when they post the juurnee. You'll see it before you apply, and arrange the details together once you're matched.
Who becomes a companion?
Turn your flight into an opportunity
You don't need to be a nurse or a nanny — just a decent person willing to lend a hand.
A student heading home
Already booked a flight home for the holidays? Get paid to help a traveller on the same route.
A retiree with time and experience
Retired nurses, teachers and flight attendants bring exactly the calm, capable presence travellers need.
Someone flying that route anyway
Turn a flight you were taking regardless into one that pays for itself.
Anyone happy to help
No special qualifications required — just being friendly, kind and willing.

In her own words
What does it mean to be a companion?
“I was the first ever flight companion for Juurnee, helping Rachel and her family on the long journey home to Sydney from London. I'm a stress head in these situations, but instead of worrying, the time went fast. I wouldn't hesitate to do this again, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to travel the world, or come back home, to make life easier and a little bit cheaper.”

Our story
Created to solve a problem
Juurnee was founded by Rachel, joined by two co-founders who each hit the same wall while travelling and decided to build the thing that should have already existed.
Rachel Crampton
Built the platform she needed after paying strangers $1,000 to help her fly three kids alone from London to Sydney when her partner had to return home unexpectedly. What started as one desperate search became Juurnee.
Aurélie Cornu
Flew solo from London to Sydney with two kids, mid-move, and knew exactly what Juurnee needed to be the moment she heard about it. Her mum flies out alone this summer — the same gap Juurnee was built to close.
Anisha Imran
Shaped by years as a caregiver for her sister, who has autism. Builds Juurnee's platform around trust, safety and dignity: technology that supports human connection rather than replacing it.
