Juurnee

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. About Juurnee

Juurnee is a marketplace that connects travellers who would like assistance during flights (Seekers) with people who can travel alongside them for compensation (Companions). Juurnee facilitates introductions, identity verification, in-app messaging, and payments; travel arrangements are agreed between Seekers and Companions directly.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Juurnee. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for keeping your login credentials (including any passkeys you register) secure. Both Seekers and Companions must complete identity verification before posting or applying to journeys.

3. Companion subscriptions and payouts

Companions may use a free plan to browse journeys, or purchase a Premium subscription (billed yearly in AUD) to apply to journeys. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Companion compensation for completed journeys is paid out via Stripe Connect to the account details the Companion provides; Companions are responsible for their own tax obligations.

4. Matches, messaging, and compensation

Seekers choose which application to accept. When a match is made, in-app messaging opens and contact details are shared between the matched parties only. Compensation set by a Seeker is held and released according to the payment flow shown at the time of the match; cancelled matches are refunded per the cancellation terms shown in-app.

5. Conduct

You agree to treat other members with respect, to provide truthful information in journeys, applications, messages, and reviews, and not to use Juurnee for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or put other members at risk.

6. Reviews

After a completed journey, participants may review each other. Reviews must be honest and respectful. In-app platform reviews may also be shared with third-party review services where you explicitly opt in. We may remove reviews that breach these terms following a report.

7. Liability

Juurnee provides an introduction service and does not supervise journeys. To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded), Juurnee is not liable for the acts or omissions of members, airlines, or other third parties.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@juurnee.com.
